Smart Cable Online Monitoring System
Fiber Optic Distributed Temperature Measurement System
Introduction
The Fiber Optic Distributed Temperature Measurement System is based on DTS (Distributed Temperature Sensing) technology, utilizing Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (OTDR) and Raman scattering effects to measure temperature variations along the distributed optical fiber, enabling real-time monitoring of cable surface temperature. Adhering to the International Electrotechnical Commission standards IEC 60287 and IEC 60853 algorithm models, it dynamically calculates conductor temperature and dynamic current carrying capacity based on actual cable operating conditions, providing effective assistance for cable safety monitoring and load management.
Technical Features
Real-time Temperature Monitoring
Based on cable surface temperature and load current data, it dynamically calculates the radial temperature distribution of the cable, enabling transient calculation of conductor temperature.
Temperature Abnormality Alarm
Equipped with functions such as maximum temperature alarm, temperature rise rate alarm, and regional temperature difference alarm, it can display, record temperature data, and alarm positions.
Dynamic Current Carrying Capacity Analysis
Based on conductor temperature and applied load current data, it predicts the maximum operating current or the cable's safe operating time with preset current: supports various application environments such as cable tunnels, trays, trenches, bridges, direct burial, and backfill.
Emergency State Prediction
By setting overload current and overload time, the system can calculate the cable's overload temperature: by setting overload current and maximum allowable temperature, it calculates the overload time; by setting overload time and maximum allowable temperature, it calculates the maximum permissible overload current.
